In my last visit to Roxas City, my companions and I were on a roll for sumptuous meals in the place dubbed as the seafood capital of the country.
A trip to Roxas City won't be complete without dining at any of the food stalls that line the shore in Baybay. The place has improved since my last visit to the city, with more concrete structures instead of nipa huts.

A local suggested that we try having lunch by the Libotong River. Reminder, you must have your own transportation or arrange with a tricycle driver for a pick-up because this place is in the middle of nowhere in Sitio Lawis in Baybay. Some of the items on their menu were not available so we had to content with whatever they could serve us. It was hot and humid day, service was slow, and the dishes were nothing out of the ordinary.

Bamboo bridge to the floating restaurant |
There were other restaurants suggested by the locals but since it was crunch time for us, we never got to try them. Hopefully in the next visit.
